2012 One of the phenomenal movies in 2009 is a movie directed by Roland Emmerich, 2012. Everybody knows, according to prophecy forecasted by Maya tribe that this world would be ended in 2012. Mostly people don’t really take too much attention to this prophecy but the other takes it seriously because according to them some scientific researches prove the same thing.

A secret society builds an arc in the tunnel located in China for a preparation of any disaster that will happen in 2012. This program is called G8 secret project. The story is started by an American writer, Jackson Curtis who takes his children to Yellowstone National Park but what he found in that place surprise him. Just like Independent Day and The Day After Tomorrow, this movie uses a lot of sophisticated movie effects and takes the same story about the end of the world. Originally, the movie is adapted from the story of Noah and his arc.

In some countries, this movie causes some debates, some pro and some contras. However, aside from that issue, this movie is still worthy to watch with John Cussack as Jackson Curtis and Roland Emmerich as the director, this movie couldn’t be better.
